- 1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic

- 1 tablespoon finely chopped ginger

- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion

- 1/4 cup finely chopped bell peppers (capsicum)

- 2 tablespoons soy sauce

- 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup

- 1 teaspoon chili sauce (adjust to taste)

- 1 teaspoon vinegar

- 1 teaspoon sugar

- 1 teaspoon cornstarch, dissolved in 2 tablespoons water

- Salt, to taste

- Fresh spring onions, chopped (for garnish)

Step 1: Prepare the Cabbage Fritters

1. In a mixing bowl, combine finely shredded cabbage, all-purpose flour, cornstarch, ginger-garlic paste, soy sauce, red chili powder, and salt.

2. Add water gradually and mix to form a thick batter that coats the cabbage evenly.

Step 2: Fry the Cabbage Fritters

1. Heat oil in a deep pan for frying. The oil should be moderately hot, around 350°F (175°C).

2. Drop spoonfuls of the cabbage batter into the hot oil to make fritters. Fry them until they are golden brown and crispy.

3. Remove the fritters with a slotted spoon and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

Step 3: Prepare the Manchurian Sauce

1. In a separate pan, heat oil and add finely chopped garlic and ginger. Sauté for a minute until fragrant.

2. Add finely chopped onions and bell peppers. Sauté until they are slightly softened.

Step 4: Add Sauce Ingredients

1. Add soy sauce, tomato ketchup, chili sauce, vinegar, sugar, and salt to the sautéed vegetables. Mix well.

Step 5: Thicken the Sauce

1. Add the dissolved cornstarch to the pan. Stir the mixture continuously as the sauce thickens.

Step 6: Add Cabbage Fritters

1. Add the fried cabbage fritters to the pan with the Manchurian sauce.

2. Gently toss the fritters in the sauce to coat them evenly.

Step 7: Garnish and Serve

1. Garnish the Cabbage Manchurian with chopped spring onions.

2. Remove from heat and transfer the Cabbage Manchurian to a serving dish.

Step 8: Enjoy!

1. Your Cabbage Manchurian is ready to be enjoyed. Serve it as an appetizer or as a side dish with fried rice or noodles.
