Pizza ( Oven )

A pizza is a popular and iconic dish originating from Italy, consisting of a round, flat crust typically topped with various ingredients such as tomato sauce, cheese, meats, vegetables, and herbs. It's baked in an oven until the crust is crispy and the cheese is melted and bubbly. Pizza is known for its delicious combination of flavours and textures, making it a favourite food enjoyed by people worldwide.

Ingredients
:

- Pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

- Pizza sauce

- Cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, etc.)

- Toppings of your choice (pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, etc.)

- Olive oil

- Salt and pepper

- Dried herbs (oregano, basil, etc.)

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven:

   - Preheat your oven to the recommended temperature (usually around 450°F or 230°C).

2. Prepare the Dough:

   - If using store-bought dough, follow the package instructions for letting it rise. If making homemade dough, roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness.

3. Prep Toppings:

   - Wash, chop, and prepare your chosen toppings.

4. Assemble the Pizza:

   - Place the rolled-out dough on a pizza stone, baking sheet, or pizza pan.

   - Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a border around the edges.

   - Sprinkle a layer of shredded cheese over the sauce.

5. Add Toppings:

   - Arrange your selected toppings evenly over the cheese.

6. Cheese Layer:

   - Add another layer of shredded cheese over the toppings. This helps hold the toppings in place and adds a cheesy goodness.

7. Seasoning:

   - Drizzle a little olive oil over the toppings to enhance flavor.

   - Sprinkle salt, pepper, and dried herbs (like oregano and basil) for extra taste.

8. Baking:

   - Carefully transfer the pizza to the preheated oven.

   - Bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

9. Check for Doneness:

   - Keep an eye on the pizza to prevent overcooking. The cooking time might vary depending on your oven and toppings.

10. Cool and Slice:

    - Once done, carefully remove the pizza from the oven.

    - Let it cool slightly before slicing it into wedges.

11. Serve and Enjoy:

    - Serve your homemade pizza slices while they're still warm and delicious!
