Instructions:

For the Paratha Dough:

1. Prepare the Dough:

- In a mixing bowl, add the whole wheat flour and a pinch of salt.

- Gradually add water and knead the flour to form a smooth and soft dough. The dough should be pliable but not too sticky.

- Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for about 15-20 minutes.

For the Cheese Filling:

2. Prepare the Cheese Filling:

- In a separate bowl, combine the grated cheese, red chili powder, garam masala (if using), and salt. You can also add chopped fresh coriander leaves for extra flavor.

For Making Cheese Paratha:

3. Divide the Dough:

- After the resting period, divide the dough into equal-sized portions and roll them into smooth balls.

4. Roll Out the Dough:

- Take one dough ball and roll it out into a small circle, about 4-5 inches in diameter, using a rolling pin and a dusting of flour to prevent sticking.

5. Add the Cheese Filling:

- Place a spoonful of the prepared cheese mixture (about 2-3 tablespoons) in the center of the rolled-out dough.

6. Seal the Paratha:

- Carefully gather the edges of the dough to enclose the cheese filling and pinch it to seal, ensuring there are no openings.

7. Roll Out Again:

- Gently flatten the stuffed dough ball with your hands and roll it out again into a larger circle. Be gentle to prevent the cheese from spilling out.

8. Cook the Paratha:

- Heat a griddle or a flat pan over medium-high heat.

- Place the rolled-out cheese paratha on the hot griddle.

- When you see bubbles forming on the surface, flip the paratha and apply ghee or oil to the cooked side.

- Flip it again and apply ghee or oil to the other side. Cook until both sides are golden brown and crispy.

9. Serve:

- Remove the cheese paratha from the griddle and place it on a plate.

- Serve hot with yogurt, pickle, or any chutney of your choice.
