Passion Fruit Juice


Ingredients:

- 6-8 ripe passion fruits

- 2-3 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)

- 2 cups cold water

- Ice cubes (optional)


Instructions:


1. Prepare the Passion Fruits:

   - Cut the passion fruits in half using a sharp knife.

   - Scoop out the pulp and seeds into a bowl. You can use a spoon to scrape the pulp from the skin.


2. Strain the Passion Fruit Pulp:

   - If you prefer a smoother juice without seeds, strain the passion fruit pulp. You can use a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth.

   - Press the pulp against the strainer to extract as much juice as possible. Discard the seeds.


3. Sweeten the Juice:

   - In a pitcher, combine the passion fruit juice with 2 cups of cold water.

   - Add sugar to the mixture, starting with 2 tablespoons. Adjust the sweetness according to your taste preferences. Stir well until the sugar dissolves.


4. Chill the Passion Fruit Juice:

   - Refrigerate the passion fruit juice for at least 30 minutes to allow it to chill.


5. Serve:

   - Pour the chilled passion fruit juice into glasses over ice cubes if desired.


6. Garnish (Optional):

   - Garnish the passion fruit juice with a slice of lime or a sprig of mint for a decorative touch.


7. Enjoy:

   - Stir the juice before drinking to make sure the sweetness is evenly distributed.

   - Sip and enjoy the tropical and tangy flavor of homemade passion fruit juice!
